Your Bunpro grammar, carried over — and put to work in real life

Bunpro is where many learners build their grammar; Yokoso is where that grammar meets shop doors, price tags, and the phrase that gets the check. The import connects them: grammar you've learned on Bunpro doesn't get re-taught here.

How it works

1. On bunpro.jp, copy your API key (Settings → API).
2. Paste it in Yokoso → Settings → Bunpro import.
3. Recently learned grammar points arrive as provisional: each one gets a single quick confirmation check in your normal sessions, then counts as known. Trust, then verify — no lecture you've already sat through.

Honest limits, stated out loud

Bunpro's API shares your recently learned grammar, not your complete history — so a years-deep Bunpro account imports its recent work, and older grammar gets picked up naturally by Yokoso's placement probes instead (which skip anything you demonstrate you know). Your key passes through our stateless proxy to bunpro.jp and is never stored server-side.

Why use both?

Bunpro drills grammar as grammar; Yokoso proves it transfers. When you've used a pattern correctly a few times, Yokoso names it and tests it on a sentence you've never seen — the "Pattern Found" moment. And the vocabulary, kanji, signs, and price drills around it are the parts of daily Japan that a grammar SRS doesn't cover.
